I've Fallen In Love!

I've fallen in love with "Milk".  OMG... I was never really big on drinking milk, but the other day I picked up a carton of Hood Calorie Countdown Chocolate drink.  It is absolutely DELICIOUS!  The best part of it is that it's packed with protein.  A cup of this chocolatey goodness has 8g of protein, 3g sugar, 4g net carbs and 90 calories.  I had been drinking plain Lactaid, but I am definitely going to start buying the Hood Calorie Countdown 2%.

To up the protein even more when I drink this concoction of goodness I blend it with 1/2 cup to 1 cup of ice, 1 tbsp. SF Chocolate syrup and 1 scoop GNC unflavored protein powder.  Sweeten to taste with Splenda or whatever sugar substitute you use.  It is sooooo good.  I'm actually drinking this yummy chocolate shake as I type.

Orange Creamsicle Protein Drink

Ingredients

6 oz. Trop50 Orange Juice
1 scoop Pure Protein Vanilla Creme Powder

Add ice, orange juice and protein powder to a cocktail shaker.  Shake vigorously until everything is combined and there are no lumps.  If you like you can strain and pour or remove lid and serve with ice and all.

This is really yummy, refreshing and lighter than having a smoothie.

Orange-Mango Vanilla Creme Protein Smoothie

A healthy start to the day!

Ingredients

2 oz. Mango Puree

1 Scoop Pure Protein Vanilla Creme
Ice

For the Mango puree:  Take one mango, peel and slice the flesh off of the seed.  Place flesh in a blender and puree with a tablespoon of water to get it going.  Push through a mesh strainer to remove mango "hairs".

Add ice, mango puree and Trop50 to your blender.  Blend until ice is completely crushed.  Add your protein and pulse until combined (about 3 or 4 pulses).

Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Strawberry Vanilla Creme Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

5 Frozen Strawberries
2 oz Trop 50 Orange Juice
2 oz Plain Greek Yogurt (whatever brand you buy)
1 scoop Pure Protein Vanilla Creme Protein
